Who we are
Bible study and community outreach in Colony Ridge.
We believe a church should know its neighbors, preach the Bible faithfully, share the gospel clearly, care for families, and send believers into everyday life as followers of Jesus.
Our relationship with Twinland
Colony Ridge Baptist Church is currently a community outreach and Bible study of Twinland Missionary Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. We are assessing local interest and commitment before pursuing formal mission status or beginning a church plant. Although we use the name Colony Ridge Baptist Church, we are not currently a formal mission, a church plant, or an organized independent church.

We seek to love and serve Colony Ridge and the surrounding communities through Bible study and community outreach.

Every service is translated live through Kaleo, so English and Spanish speakers worship together from day one.

We exist to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ, helping believers mature in faith, building a loving church family, and serving the people God has placed around us.

Twinland Missionary Baptist Church
Twinland Missionary Baptist Church oversees this outreach and Bible study. Any move toward formal mission status or a church plant will follow an assessment of local interest and commitment.

Believer’s Baptism
We baptize professing believers by immersion in obedience to Christ and as a public identification with Him.
The Lord’s Supper
We observe the Lord’s Supper as a church ordinance that remembers Christ’s sacrifice and proclaims His death until He comes.
The Local Church
We believe a New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers gathered under Christ’s authority to worship, teach, serve, and carry out the Great Commission.
Congregational Responsibility
Under Christ and His Word, the congregation shares responsibility for the life, doctrine, discipline, and mission of the church.
Religious Liberty
Faith cannot be coerced. We affirm liberty of conscience and the responsibility of every person to respond to God.

A few things you may want to know.
Where does Colony Ridge Baptist Church meet?
We meet at the Santa Fe Administration and Activities Building, 1680 County Road 3549, Cleveland, TX 77327. Bible study begins Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., and continues on Sundays. Gatherings last one hour, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
How does live translation work?
From day one, our services are taught in English and translated live into Spanish through Kaleo. Follow the text projected on screen, or use Kaleo on your phone to read or listen to the translation. Bring your phone and headphones if you would like to listen in Spanish. We can help you get connected when you arrive. Live text on the screen and your phone also helps people who are hard of hearing follow along.
What kind of Baptist church is this?
This is an outreach of Twinland Missionary Baptist Church, a Missionary Baptist congregation committed to biblical authority, salvation by grace through faith, believer’s baptism by immersion, the local church, and the Great Commission.
Do I need to dress a certain way?
No. Come in ordinary, respectful clothing. We care much more about people than a dress code.
Can I help with the outreach?
Absolutely. We welcome people who want to pray, serve, help with outreach, or simply learn more. We are assessing local interest and commitment before pursuing formal mission status or beginning a church plant.
Your first visit
Join us Sundays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. for a one-hour gathering with music, prayer, and Bible study in English with live Spanish translation through Kaleo. Follow the text projected on screen or read or listen on your phone. Bring headphones if you would like to listen in Spanish; we can help you get connected. Live text also helps people who are hard of hearing follow along. Come as you are, and feel free to listen or ask questions.
Children are welcome! We are planning a children’s Bible lesson adapted from Minno resources, along with a snack and a craft. Contact Chad with questions about arrangements for your child.

Dr. Chad Whiteley | Outreach Leader
Chad serves as associate pastor at Twinland Missionary Baptist Church in Houston and is leading the Colony Ridge outreach. He is also a high school computer science teacher and an adjunct college instructor. He and his wife, Maria, live in New Caney with their two daughters.
